Hi All
Firstly, here is the thread to discuss the meet
http://www.fpvhub.com/index.php/topic,7999.135.html (http://www.fpvhub.com/index.php/topic,7999.135.html)
Here is the important info about the meetup:
1. When?
Saturday 1st December starting from 8:00am
2. Where?
The 'Playing Fields' Great Haseley Oxfordshire. The venue does not have a post code but use OX44 7JR - this is my house in Back Way, but if you put that into your sat nav it will get you to the village, then follow these simple directions.
Coming from the M40 take Junction 7 (Thame) in the direction of Birmingham. Turn left at the top of the bridge onto the A329 and drive a few hundred yards and turn left at the 'Great Haseley' sign. The road goes downhill and you'll pass an open field on the right, then three big trees on the left. By now you should be able to see a white club house on your left hand side. To get to it keep driving. When you see farm stores on your right and some houses go slow and turn left into the first drive way you come up to. Keep driving up that drive way, you'll pass a paddock on the right with some horses and you'll arrive at the field.
If you come on the A34 (from Hampshire etc) and you're using Sat Nav after you pass Little Milton on your right and you're on the A329 pass the turn on your right called 'Great Haseley Industrial Estate' and drive for about 3/4 mile and you'll turn right at the Great Haseley sign and follow above directions from there.
Here are some Google image pics - you want to end up at B.

What to bring?
1. Your FPV and flying gear
2. Chair
3. Charger
4. Wooly's, Wellies and winter gear (hot water bottle recommended)
5. Bottled water, cooldrinks, beers
6. Cash (for lunch and share of the venue)
Food and Drinks
Since the weather is going to be very touch and go there will be a chance of last minute cancellations so with regret I've decided not to cater for the event. Lunch options are the local pub (very good) as well as Burger King at the Oxford Services (about 2 miles away). I'd be happy with someone's help to hop in the van and take bulk orders for burgers etc.
I will provide Tea and Coffee throughout the day with biscuits and croissants.
There is a fridge on site so please bring your cooldrinks and beers. If you'd like to bring sandwiches or ingredients and make them there, there are full kitchen facilities available.
Things we need
In the thread we have discussed different things we'll need for the day. Here is the confirmed list of people coming, as well as the things they've kindly agreed to help out with.

If there is anyone I've left out, things we'll need that are missing or if you've just seen this and would like to join us please mention it in the thread.
Venue
The committee has given us the venue for a nominal fee of £80 for the day. If our numbers are below 8, the chairman has agreed that we will pay £10 per head. If due to weather it is cancelled, there is naturally the option of moving it to the Sunday.
Last Bits
Here is the weather as it stands today (Tuesday 27 Nov)
(http://s16.postimage.org/4w0sei96p/oxweather.jpg) (http://postimage.org/image/4w0sei96p/)
I'll be there from around 8:00am setting up so come as early as you like. Like last time there will be no organised activities / frequency boards or anything like that. Please do not switch on AV gear when planes are in the air and all should be well.
Since it's going to be cold there is the opportunity to watch the live action on a Projector that Gav is kindly bringing in the heated club house.
I'll stay as late as the last person wants to fly and who knows wind and weather permitting we could get some night flights in.
The last meet was a great success despite our small numbers and I think I speak for everyone when I say we had a great time, we learned a lot from each other and came back with some awesome and memorable footage.
Please check in with the thread on Friday evening to make final arrangements for the morning.
And lastly, there is the question of the weather. If it all turns bad I'd still like to thank everyone in advance for a well planned meetup. Let's hope the weather is on side for a great day's flying!
Richard
