Title: Stefans Anti Jello Gopro mount
Post by: bignose13 on December 06, 2012, 03:25:57 PM
Stefans Anti Jello Gopro mount
Just thought I'd share this with you, it's what Stefan designed for my Coffin Dodger Tri, it's based on ear plugs which I can get from work and are quite squidgy, 8 plugs seem to be the sweet spot
Forget the content of the vid, it's just my back garden, also the motors and props were balanced but I didnt spend hours doing them, only about 5 mins till I thought it was good enough
The Gopro was set to 1080 as well so any jello will stick out like a saw thumb
Anyway, enjoy

I did balance the props and motors but didnt really spend much time on it, more of a "that'll do" sort of balancing
I have a spider quad here which no way could I do 1080p recording with out the vibes and have a mount for that, be interesting to see how it copes with the vibes on the quad

Squidgy foam works really well, I made this last year for my quad, it worked really well. ear plugs are a great idea its like memory foam, really numbs the vibes.

Anything that can smooth out noseys's balancing must be well good.
