Never flown fpv before but been flying RC for about 4 years. I have had everything from home made and tiny multiplex fox up to a 9ft wingspan 62cc petrol sport plane but have now decided to try my hand at FPV.

Yes I have had alsorts of planes but was told that ez was best thing to try fpv for first time.

I have setup camera so that it points down slightly and the nose of the plane is just in view...only got pan setup as yet but may invest in pan and tilt stand but dont think it important at the moment...

I may want to get a bigger quadcopter soon but need to master the small one i have just bought first though (which you can see by checking out my vids on youtube from the link above)

Good luck. Just relax and enjoy it. You can already fly RC so assuming you have ever flown something "FPV" in a game or a flight simulator it'll just seem pretty natural straight away. Wait for some better weather, though.
yeah flown fpv on real flight sim loads of times and got a rc simulator on my mobile phone and that does same....i know what to expect but just hoping the fpv gear works ok. if it does all should be fine...thanks for your comments...need to wait for low tide here as well as calm wind and no rain...they dont come too often on the coast lol :'( but soon very soon

Good luck with your first FPV I remember mine well, I was very lucky having my brother (G.Man) beside me.
Love the wings glued together I did that with a pair of Bixler wings nearly a year ago but only got as far as gluing wings together.

Good luck with the maiden, youll love it.
Be sure to have a spotter with you and tell them to keep an eye on the plane. It is very easy to get lost in the sky. You will have no probs actualy flying, just finding your way home can be fun sometimes. The spotter can tell you when to turn around, at the edge of their sight, this way you wont fly out of range.
Once in the air, relax and pick out some land marks. Get used to the view. Learn to recognise where you are standing.
