Very nice - formation flying is hard but you did well there Flyn.

Formation flying seems particularly difficult, especially with models of different performance. The Alpha seemed better on the outside of the turns, with it's higher speed. Clearly it's demanding, even when the lead model is being flown straight and level !

Very well done Flyn i tried this with cessnadave but with dave los and myself on the fpv it was almost impossible to fly for long enough to get settled on a positon behind.
It sounds easy but its not is it lol
It didnt help with cessnadave flying his bix which had a bit more power than my easystar which was loaded with kit :)

Thanks guys, yeah its pretty tough to fly formation, the key seems to be communication with the lead pilot, you need to constantly tell each other what you're going to be doing. Being quick on the sticks helps too.

The toughest formation flying I've done is with mine & 2 other ZII's at Mam Tor last year! Fast & twitchy doesn't describe it!
