Anglo European FPV Meet

Hi All!

Just an idea. Would it be worth organising an Anglo European FPV Meet?

Obviously there is the question of where, cost and logistics of getting people and gear around.

I for one I am envious of people who live in areas where they have breathtaking scenery and diverse flying spots. Obvious places coming to mind are the Matterhorn and practically anywhere in Switzerland / Austria (TBS / BK Morpheus / Mike). I've also been blown away by the beauty of Spain (see JapanX) and not just for the food, Italy (Atarix777). Lest we forget countries on or near our own Island (Ireland, Scotland and Wales).

As you know I love FPV Meets because it's an opportunity to meet all the characters and learn from people. I always come away from meets with better knowledge and new ideas.

Maybe I've got a bee in my bonnet and this can go nowhere (I know just in the UK it's a mission to get from North to South etc) so planning something on this scale might just be a pipe dream. But you know what they say, "Build it and they will come!" [okay, more like a quote from a lesser known Hollywood B movie].

Maybe I just need a Holiday. Anyone want to do a 1 Week European FPV Tour by hired mini bus and trailer?

I could investigate costs and a diverse Itinerary?

Unfortunately for me, if I was to go abroad the wife would insist on attending because it's not like we get to go on many family holidays as it is and it'd be a bit selfish of me  to whack cash on something like that while expecting her to stay at home with the kids.

Now, if you asked me 6 years ago...........................

It was big global event before FPV became mainstream. Don't see it advertised now...
