One more video added to the opening post.

As Paul said, I made the orange cones (or whatever they are called). There is a cane on the middle to keep it up. The base of the fabric is folded pack on itself and I pushed some junk electrical wire in there to give it round shape and a bit of weight to keep it down.

Thanks Paul / Angelos

It's a bit late in the week, since I'm now at the venue fixing my planes and getting all the grub together. Ill definitely make a plan with these for next time.

Remember you're both invited as our special guests on Saturday / Sunday. We're having a South African Barbie on Saturday and obviously lots of flying. Some of the lads are camping over, so possibly some night flying then off to Wolvercote on Sunday to chase the river!

Ciao!

Thanks Richard. My Saturdays are a bit busy as my older buy has some activities but I may be able to come late afternoon. Wolvercote? Fly at Port Meadow?

Cheers,
Angelos

Hi Angelos!

I discovered Wolvercote while having lunch there once. I'm not sure about Port Meadow. The place I'm talking about is in the shape of a large V, with a railway on the left side, a river on the right (has Thames boats on it) and an allotment near where I fly. The place is huge - in the protected area it's about 2.5 km in one direction towards Oxford and about 800m at the biggest part.

My mates Neil and Wayne (Krikey and Currykitten) have seen my video and want to fly it.

Here's the spot - I did a narrated flight on the Penguin - anytime you want to hook up for a fly let me know.

Narrated FPV Penguin at Wolvercote Common

PS: If you come through bring your boys. Holly my daughter will be there and they got on quite well I think. There are swings etc.

Cheers

Richard

That piece of land that you are flying over is called Port Meadow.
