Good fun to get going, and theory clever, but I think its a bit clumsy to be practical.

Yea not much space for our gear with all that mass swinging about but still impressive achievement, wonder what will be about in 5 years....

put some foam on the leading edges and it will double up as a boot polisher :D

if thats what they called stable id hate too see an unstable hover!  Still looks cool but would need a shot of one to decide if its cool or uncool hehe

Years ago their was a polystyrene kite that used this principle but with just one blade set. had the body of an aeroplane with the blade suspended on a frame in the middle like paddle steamer. Was stable on the line and flew in real light winds. Must be 25-30years ago
