That one is not circular polarised so no use with spironets etc.

Get the Spironet 13db patch antenna. It's pricey but all the circular polarized patch antenna's are compared to their linear counterparts.

You don't need a special antenna for an Immersion/Fatshark. Any 5.8Ghz Antenna will work with both Fatshark or any other 5.8ghz video because they are designed to work for a variety of channels.

Hi dogzilla, What would you recommend the FPV 5.8Ghz Blackhawk + Helical Antenna with Skew Planar (Gold Standard) set. £49.99 +P&P Or would you recommend The IMMERSIONRC SPIRONET 5.8GHZ PATCH ANTENNA for £53.99 +P&P ?

Just bite the bullet and get the FatShark SpiroNet Patch and C/P Skew/CL antennas.

I have no experience of the black hawk set. But looking at them both, the spironet weighs like 30 grams or something silly and it packs flat.  so for transport alone I would choose the spironet.

performance wise the spironet is excellent. I haven't compared personally but I've read a number of reports saying its better than even the best helical from circular wireless.

The Spironet Patch is fantastic, not only does it perform flawlessly its size means you can attach it directly to your receiver and mount your receiver on the tracker :)
