ezUHF Tx shielding

I'm thinking of hacking my spare R/C Tx to build the ezUHF transmitter into it rather than hanging it off the back and I am contemplating taking the ezUHF out of it's case (it's just a single board) and building it into the back of the Tx. What I was wondering is whether there are any RF issues with doing this given the ezUHF is currently housed in a nice shielded aluminium case, it is it likely to interfere with the Tx insides or vice versa? I see that none of the insides of the Tx modules (JR) are shielded be they 2.4ghz or 35mhz so I'm assuming a 433mhz 'board' would be OK too?

Sander made a comment on FPVLAB that some TX's do not play well with their new EzUHF system. This is the new module based 2W switchable EzUHF system. So based on that, I would say you may well have some issues building it into your TX.

He didn't elaborate whether it's the new higher power 2w, or whether it's cause of it being module based and in close proximity to the rest.

Tried this mod and managed to get the ezUHF tidily inside the Transmitter case (I'll have to post some pics in the Mods section) and it all appears to be working great, very clean solution.
