Hi All,

Right flown bixler today with Cyclops storm everything set up before rth workin pa working one MAJOR problem

Im using dragonlink UHF and at about 300 feet Im getting failsafes and rssi is going down to 0 and then back up I have tried a different rx and no luck it is definetly something to do with the storm interfering on uhf

Any ideas??

Thanks

300ft range is like having no antenna at all !  :(

The cyclops has been tested to have fairly low RF noise from it, it does let out 432mhz via the MAX7456 OSD chip, but its negligible. Some have added ferrite rings between the cyclops and the DL receiver that gets rid of any noise.

Are you running a #16 camera, Gopro or Mobius in close proximity to the DL receiver ?

Sounds like normal DragonLink behaviour to me ;)

Think I have sorted it loads of spacing did a good distance with 100 rssi will give it a proper test when wind goes

Made a spectrum analyser out of a DVB tuner and it does give off noise

The wind isn't going to November  :P

my Storm OSD worked perfectly fine in conjuction with Rangelink UHF and they were both right next to each other on the Skywalker.

Yes we have already established this because it carries a MAX7456 OSD chip that emits 432 - 433 noise. But its only a tiny amount.

How many db of noise were you seeing being measured ?

How far away from it was it until the noise was that low it was of no concern ?
