Andy,  where are you thinking of pushing this data too?  google maps or an app?

This telemetry protocol was designed to send position data ( Latitude, Longtitude, Altitude) from the aircraft to my antenna tracker only. It is assumed to be realtime data and the source to be unambiguous..

For your needs you may need other info such as aircraft id, timestamp etc...

If your feed is transmitted via mobile to a waiting server which in turn displays all the data, then in theory we could set up user accounts that your mobile signs in to, this could allocate a callsign to your account.

So all that's needed is an inexpensive smart phone with a data plan.

If you want to use google maps (without paying £10k /year) it needs to be public.

Best thing to do is create service that provides KML, you can then over-lay that on a public site.. The KML can be called up by a users 'call-sign'...
