Yeah seen this before some time again, it would be great if its just an upgrade. Come on DJI  :great:

Presumably this will only work with an x or + quad and not an H?

Maybe it would still work but intuitively it seems to me like it would be more difficult for the algorithm to maintain control in a scenario where two motors are next to each other with one further away, instead of an equilateral triangle.  You can see it struggling to stay flat as it is.

I asked them the question through YouTube and they reckon it should work, although they haven't tried it.  Reckon I'd have to secure my batteries a bit better before one of mine would survive that treatment, though.

Are they effectively open sourcing their algorithm then if we're expecting to see it in flight controllers, couldn't see any word on this aspect ?
