Radian box mod

After seeing the video here:

Parkzone Radian Box Mod

I thought that it would be a good idea to strengthen the whole box as well as the hinges and I guess I just had too much time on my hands, I was also annoyed that the radian box didn't fit across my back seats, so I took a stanley knife to it!

This bit isn't needed as I bought the pnp version and so have a seperate tx



I then lopped off the extra from the box, leaving enough to make a new set of flaps








Check to make sure all fits



I made a handle using the excess cardboard, I moved it slightly more forward due to one end of the box containing the cockpit



Re-inforce the top and around the handle with tape



Carry on down the sides, I used just under 4 rolls of 50mm x 10m rolls of cloth re-inforced tape from Asda, £1 a roll.



And voila!!




Makes me think of a tommy gun, a really big tommy gun!

Thats a different idea i suppose, now ill just buy a radian to put in my modded box :)
