Airbus E-Fan concept.

Saw this at Farnborough the other week. It's a two seat electric trainer concept (specs on board to the side). The A380 was on the end of the runway running its engines when it did a flight demo, so whatever noise it made was completely drowned out. Did look a bit like it handled like a model r/c trainer when in flight tbh, but still an interesting indication of where things might be going tech-wise.

Many thanks for posting the excellent video.  I saw an article in the RAES mag this month and was really interested to see more. Some people have great jobs - wish I was younger!
