Air Race!!

dunno if it has been discussed before, but after reading about pastys pursuit of speed i was thinking maby we can develop a format for fpv based air racing, set a measured course and, spread the word throughout the internet and start comparing speeds from around the world, could have different classes to suit everyone and promote fpv safety at the same time, ie spotter, legal transmitters and frequencies, could be fun, and expensive, but mostly fun.

i suggested the same thing on RCG a few months back, got a bit of interest but most pilots are up for cruising and checking out the view rather than belting around at speed :)

well im definately up for it, just need more intrest.

so what do you think of 2 pylons, 500m apart, a lemans style start with a certain amount of laps, and time stops when you land in a specified area
