Today I finished my ground station relay box

LED Voltmeter is good for 100V (apparently) so I think it will be just fine telling my the status of a 3S LiPo

Barrel plug supplies tracker with 12v

Video plug takes video feed from tracker and feeds it to the 25mw 5.8 VTX inside the box

Both wires can be pulled out to the required length, depending on how high up I put the tracker on the tripod. They can't be pulled all the way out as I've tied a knot in them at the required length

5.8 VTX is mounted with the RP-SMA mount poking through the bottom of the box and secured with a small nut that came with an SMA extension I had lying around

Whole thing is powered from a 3S LiPo via the panel mount XT60 plug, LiPo then just sticks to the velcro on the side

I'll be attaching it to my tripod leg using a GoPro handlebar mount, hence the GoPro style attachment on the back

cheers, well I can report that it works perfectly.

I went into the garden earlier before the rain came... switched the skywalker on and let the GPS get some sats. switched on the relay station and the tracker came to life as expected. clicked the button on the skywalker to set home position and walked away from the tracker.

At about 10 paces, the tracker sprung into life again and pointed right at me (holding the skywalker). I popped the goggles down and there was a perfect picture being sent from the plane to the tracker and back to me.

Nice work m8, I like the black box and the XT input socket...My grey box is shit from RS....I may have to upgrade it if it works ok...and put the 5.8g vtx inside too....:)
