Grabbed the opportunity for an early flight as the rest of the house was still asleep and the conditions & lighting were great.

Nice flight along the hills, on the home straight coming back & lost video :o

Tracked it down with the Crossfire GPS location. Glad I got that sorted out now!

Game keeper was talking about trying to shoot out the branch it was sat on :o

Sent a message to the local tree surgeon, he will enjoy a laugh climbing up for it. ;)

Not in too bad shape either, needs a couple of wing joiner tubes and some new foam splicing into the wings to fill the dents a spinner printing out and a new wire to one of the aileron servos.....

Hopefully there will be a video to follow.....

It was such an ace flight too.

Had a look at the video. Seem to have dipped below a rise. The RTH kicks in just after it arrives in the tree :+

Not that impressed with the way Runcam 2 handles light levels. Although it looks like there is a firmware update as it flashed up when I put the SD card in the Mac.

I like it, flys very well.
Mine is the EPO version so 1.8m span rather than 2m of the 'unobtanium' version.
It came with a foam plug for the nose so you can dispense with the roll/tilt servo driven ball thing. I have it set up with FPV cam & fixed Runcam 2.
I did go straight for a 3D printed boom prop rather than the supplied gear driven one.
12x8" Aeronaught folding prop on 4s 8000mah.
Chocka about pranging it really :'(
I will patch it up but have already ordered another airframe from China, so cannot be all bad! ;)
