Pan Servo drift

Any ideas why my pan servo might be drifting around centre?

It's a GWS sailwinch job, the standard thing everyone uses for a gopro pan - but whenever I land from flying LoS it's at about 45 degrees. I noticed it drifting ever so slightly while flying FPV and since I don't have a point of reference on the fuselage it can be a bit disorientating to say the least.

Trim and use some expo.

I have the same servo on my buggy and it does the same thing, I think they're just crap servos. I'm forever having to correct mine as it jumps around, they're just not accurate enough to be used as pan servos.

It's a GPS copy if it's not holding its center property.  Or you have a bad / poor quality potentiometer on your tx.
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

Is it possible to specify a null zone for a pot on a 9XR? So that basically anywhere around centre is centre until the movement on the pot is large enough to warrant panning around?

I swear the nicer the gear I put on my planes the more issues I have :D

I'm not sure the 9xr supports it. Sometimes a calibration of the channel can help, and with servo resolution too but again unsure of what can be done with the 9xr
