PK's Drak Auto-launch With Vector 3D Mode

Video recorded on Fatshark goggles showing the Drak being launched off in Vector 3D mode.

This works great for me, have done 5 launches this way hands off.

Seems to work a treat.

I was going to mess around with my TX today in an attempt to create some kind of auto launch for my vector and mini talon... but the mini talon launches so easily it's not worth the work.

After having 10 good hand launches with 4 not so good (usually when no wind to launch into) I decided to try out the Vector in '3D' mode.
It works for me and it has worked for the last 4 launches in this mode, I tilt the Drak back on its fins to get the nose up to where I want it to stay when I launch (20 degrees up ?), then flick my mode switch to the '3D' position.
Really really important to not even breath on the right stick (I'm using mode 2) from this point on.
Open up throttle to full throttle
single hand launch pushing the Drak forward and up
It locks in and just goes.
The video is recorded on my Fatshark built in DVD, 'Coyote' was going to video on his GoPro and RCExplorer Tri but was pointing the wrong way at launch.

This launch in the video has the slightest right turn as I must have set it up on the ground with the right wing slightly down, but I didn't touch the sticks until I flicked oover into 2D No Hold mode.

And further into the flight Coyote followed the Drak on a low pass and got some good video with his tricopter.
