Which board types do you prefer?

Guys I am getting some boards manufactured and trying to determine what sort of connector people prefer

So say take a Naze32 board as an example. Do you prefer:

Option 1 - the white small jst sh1.0 connectors that come with a plug with 100mm wires
Option 2 - standard 0.1" servo pins pre fitted to the board
Option 3 - pcb with standard 0.1" holes so you can solder wires direct or fit some servo pins (supplied with baord)

Personally I like option 3, but I see a lot of boards now come with jst connectors.
And would it sway your decision to purchase?

Option 3 for me.  Those little white connectors seem ok - if you go along and remove all the additional wires you don't need, but the connectors seem quite weak and are prone to coming off.

At least with option 3 you get the option of soldering directly, or putting pin headers in.

Not sure it would sway my decision unless there was literally the same board with just that change.  Every single board seems to have a slight different layout, so there's always other pros/cons

Option 3 for me too.

Doesnt stop me from buying when they have the white plugs, in fact i normally buy more as i know ill need spares when the plug breaks.  ;D

Just as an add, if youre thinking for anything mini quad related, as they are getting smaller, people are preferring de-pinned everything so they can cram it all in the smallest frame possible.

Option 3.
As has been said, tighter spaces are demanding less 'clutter'.

I'm still amazed when I land with nothing broken....

Option 2 - that way I can just attach a servo plug and am free to do whatever I like with the wires. My soldering skills are on par with an alzheimers patient using a jack hammer while sitting on a washing machine

Option 3 for me Gaz
Less clutter

Thanks for all the replies guys. I'm prefer option 3 or 2, but most of new boards seem to be going down route 1. Glad to confirm its not just me!

Si, hope to agree pricing with supplier next week or two. Will be a while yet before get them.
