EzUHF Binding problem T6EXA

Can't bind my EzUHF.

I've followed the binding procedure. When I power the RX and hold down the button the light goes out and stays that way for as long as I hold the button. If I do release the button it sits there for 4-5 seconds then flashes 3 times. Then I power on/off and restart the rx/tx. Then the RX starts and just sits there and occasionally the servo twitches.

are both the tx and rx on the same firmware?
