I came across this today and was very interested in what Lee ( Painless360 ) and Greg ( Menace RC ) were presenting.

Basically as Greg and others were conducting tests for a race meet that was upcoming they came across an anomaly of a ghost channel derived from two people flying together, they then looked into it and thus the video below

I took this screenshot from the video which I would think is very handy to you guys on how to select channels that skip the potential of experiencing this yourselves :

Here is the video going more into the findings :

Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

This is nothing new in race land. We use IMD5 (Fifth-Order Inter-Modulation Distortion) at the majority of all events.

RB 1 - 5658
RB 2 - 5695
FS 2 - 5760
FS 4 - 5800
RB 7 - 5880
RB 8 - 5917

With enough separation from pilots to aircraft (about 30m) we have very few video issues.

RC Groups thread about IMD in FPV:

I had no idea about it so for new pilots or those just getting into racing I thought it would be a useful post.

Maybe some of you from "Race land" could post up more threads sharing all the findings, techniques, technologies used in the racing now on here ?
