ooo FPV on water,  :o would hate to get the electronics wet. Makes me think though I would like to try an Icon A5 fpv aircraft, might be fun with a cheap setup inside it.

Water is not a problem if you get yourself a tin (or two) of this

Spray directly onto the electronics and it leaves a nice thin silcone coating over it all.  ;D

mmm didnt think of using anythin like that. Will bear that in mind as I think flying from a lake would be so immense, especially the landings. Might investigate this further for my second build.

Do you think this would resist direct contact with water or just the spray/humidity created from it?

No experience of that stuff but if you Google 'CorrosionX' then there's demos of total immersion in water of ESCs (while switched on) and the like that have been treated with it.
