stryker transmitter problems

Hi,

I have put the fatshark tx (10mw) 2.4  on the nose of my stryker with the camera straight in front  of it, I have 35mhz radio gear. At around 150mtrs the picture drops out , can anyone tell me what i could be doing wrong as i am new to this, thanks.
The picture comes back when the plane faces me

If your using a omni antenna on your receiver on the floor it could be effecting the range, depending on your antenna on your planes angle you could be out of polarization.

Can you post a picture up of it installed and what receiving equipment your using ? :)

Hi,

The antenna is on the fat shark goggles and i put the tx behind the nose with the antenna pointing skywards

Hmm not sure on the sensativity of the fatsharks off hand, but on a 10mw transmitter great range is not easily achieved but 150m sounds too short

going to swap it for the 500mw tx , that should sort it.
