It was pretty windy today but I thought sod it lets have a go :D..

! Private video

The X-5 survived very well considering it made a hole in the ground (check the video lol).

It appears both of the Elevon control links broke off, they were the standard ones which are only held in by two poxy legs :(

They have now been replaced!

Yea i flew today and it was really bumpy, the Easystar really did not like the wind one bit. Still had a good flight though only 400m away this time lol. I gave some one a passenger flight too and watching the wings flex i realised maybe it was not much a good idea lol

DaveyLC

Nice one :D

The wind got stupid round our way, it was ok about lunch time, breezy but flyable.. Then it got bad around 2pm :(

Ah balls, nice little wing that too - hope it's an easy fix.

What happened? Stall?

DaveyLC

The elevon control horns came off mid flight :D I think flying in the wind was a bit of a strain  :P
