Did he lose control just over that circle of planted tree's.  You hear almost like a glitch, and then the motors are completely steady from then on.  Did he have voltage protection switched on as well - it was coming downwards quite steadily at the end, before it appeared to run out of steam and come down a lot faster.  Great result though - found and handed back and no damage.

He lost it when it got to the edge of the circle, we'd seen that circle in my antenna test flight and he wanted to be the first to see what's in there. "Hidden UFO". He didn't have battery protection, it just run out of steam it had no damage whatsoever not even a broken prop "lucky or what".
