Strange behaviour

1) I have the following which I bought from first person view.

EZOSD WITH GPS AND CURRENT SENSOR.
I find that it doesn't really show my altitude or speed or anything else apart from voltage accurately. Sometimes it won't show anything apart from the voltage the rest stays at zero or a random number. Is there a to calibrate it? Also when I switch the quad on before it even tries to find any satellites it flashes up GPS error. I sometimes have to turn everything off seven times until it boots correctly with out the error.

2) Of late when I switch my quad on it takes ages to find a satellite. It will flash red and green sometimes for 10 minutes. It seems very intermittent sometimes it will work within 40 seconds. Your thoughts?

3) A new problem which started yesterday when I throttle up every time I get very bad interference in my goggles. I get diagonal lines and a fuzzy picture which makes going any distance extremely difficult. I have not changed anything on the setup but all of a sudden for no apparent reason it has developed this fault. Can anyone please put me out of my misery?

Sounds like a bad ground or ground-loop somewhere possibly?

I've had 10 minutes free this afternoon and tested the quad again and it seems as if all of the problems have been rectified by themselves. Perhaps it was just the area I was in. Or just the quad unhappy as I was going to fly over a reservoir to get some shots.

But I'm still having problems with the on-screen display as its not showing the correct numbers and the arrow towards home always stays still. Any thoughts guys?

Looks as if the on-screen display unit and the GPS are faulty. It looks as if they've got extremely hot. I've sent them back to first person view. Hopefully I will get replacements.

Tell me about it very strange. Where the battery plugs in the connections it got so hot. I noticed the connectors on the board are not soldered very well so I think it's just a bad set. I hope.
