A fpv beginner

Hi all
Just thought i'd post a beginners point of view to fpv!
I have been doing e-flight since 1979! yes the early days of 540 motors, 1200 nicad and a slow climb!!!
So what do i need to know for fpv?
An aircraft would be a good start!
I choose a DJI F450 with dji controller and gps why? well as i am an old type of guy with an injury to my arms/hand this was the only choice i could go for as i could sit down and enjoy fpv (i think)
You young chaps will go out and enjoy what ever :)
After selling most of my fleet of aircraft, this paid for the fc/gps and F450, oh! and pay the misses to keep quiet!!!!!!! still have some aircraft to sell! only one i will never sell having been on it for three years (could even fpv that aircraft?) :+
So what camera should i have ? yes gopro would have been my choice, but cost is such that i went for a http://www.securitycamera2000.com/products/Super-WDR-Low-Illumination-650TVL-SONY-CCD-OSD-Mini-Camera-2.1mm-Lens.html the gopro will come later.
I have flown the 450 in my garden and the function of atti and gps is a life saver the gps function makes the 450 stay in one place at whatever altitude NICE!!!!! :) :) :)Had it hovering at 50ft no hands (like this stuff) :)
So stay tuned for later installments of how i progress and what i buy!

I'd buy a 2.8mm lens, 2.1mm is a bit too distorted for FPV IMO.

Just like the downstairs suggested 2.1mm lens maybe lead to the distortion viewing.
