My flying buddy and myself have had a challenge running since the winter to fly to a artificial ski slope, some 2.6km from our flying field. This is my first attempt with my Skywalker V6 with FY31ap and 200mw vtx and an 11db vrx antenna. This must seem easy to some of you guys but my furthest FPV to date is 600m. Managed to get out 1.5km before the video got too bad and my nerve gave out lol !

Specs are FY31AP flight control with return to launch, 200mw video transmitter with Hornet osd on screen display using clover leaf antenna and 11db panel fro ebay , turnigy 3536 1450kv motor 66 amp esc 5000 3s battery

What are you using for flight control?

I'm using a 9x turnigy, with a directional pannel antenna from hobby king, tested it out from the ski slope back to the field and we still had full control at 2.6km.

I've also got a 2.4ghz 1 watt booster I can use if controls an issue, which it doesn't appear to be.
