Hi guys,

Would anyone be interested in a meet at Sutton Bank?

In case anyones wondering, it's in North Yorkshire.

I think it would be an awesome place to fly FPV.

There's a lot off full size planes there..

Not sure it's a good idea to be close to them..

Well I'm still up for it - found this on the front page of Simon's website so it's obviously doable:

From up on that bank you could easily keep down below the ridge line without worrying too much weather you are gonna loose Line of Sight and stay out of the way of any full size planes.

Looks like a great place to me. I'd be up for it.

The updrafts off Sutton Bank are extremely powerful even on a calm day - I flew gliders there many years ago and its really amazing.

Better get it touch with the gliding club first lads as they have priority and can get a bit prickly  not good for the hobby if they do though. :o

Hi guys,

Its a great spot.  I highly recommend it!

My Dad (who was flying in that video) has flown full size gliders at the gliding club there for 25+ years (and my Grandad and two uncles also), and hang gliders off "the other side" for 30+ years.  So he's familiar with what's going on there air traffic wise.  That said, its not rocket science!

Have fun! I look forward to the videos!

All the best

Let me know a date and I will 100% be up for that. I dare say GinnerFPV and Liambaker996 will be up for it also.
Loads of cool FPV stuff on our Facebook Group, like it today:

I drove up/down there today going to/from Flamingo Land and had the thought that it would be cool to fly round there, similar to Birk Brow on the way to Whitby.
