silly Aileron setup question

Hi All.

Ok this is maybe a fairly silly question and feel free to have a good laugh at a heli person. Never setup a plane before only a heli.

So my Skywalker 1900 has 2 Aileron servos. Do I hook them together with a "Y" cable so both plug into the Aileron channel on the TX or do I use a different channel on the TX. My TX is a JR XG 7 and has an option for using 2 channels for the Aileron.

Sorry only joking, yes a simple "y" lead will sort you out, but make sure you put the servo's in "handed"
ie left & right so they work in opposite directions otherwise you end up with flaps instead of ailerons.

A Y lead will suffice but if you use separate channels for each servo you can adjust them individually on the tx setup. Some people prefer this but it is unlikely to make much difference on a model like the Skywalker.
Make sure also that you get the servo sense correct.
L aileron down/R aileron up = roll right
L aileron up/R aileron down = roll left

No worries. Yeah worked the handed bit out just wasnt sure if it was cool to have 2 servos plugged into one channel.

Good idea but I think for now ill keep it as simple as possible.
Its certainly more of a hobbyist build compared to the Trex 500 and Goblin 700 I have built. Those you just take the stuff out of the bag and bolt together. This I am actually going to have to make some stuff.
