FY DOS with turnigy 9x

Hi, does anyone have any experience setting the DOS up with the turnigy 9x firmware?

The problem that i'm having is that i can't seem to switch to manual, stabilised or 3d mode. (sw1). Using Hov pit for now.

I can cycle through RTH, Circle and heading lock (sw2) using 'Hov Thr' on the 9x.

With the downloaded manual is say that SW2 has priority over SW1 and that switch one can only work once SW2 is 'Null'

"DOS need two 3 way switches to control flying. SW1 is used to set manual mode, stabilized mode and 3d mode. SW2 is used to set RTH, heading lock mode and auto circling mode. SW2 has priority to SW1. Only when SW2 switch to cancel(Null) position, the SW1 can work

The problem being is that 99% of us ditch the stock firmware immediately for OpenTx or ER9x software. Then not a lot use DOS, mainly FY31AP and Hornet

Yeha i thought that would be that case to be honest :/
