Hey, so I just got my EzUHF from someone on here, and all looks ok so far.... I just have a few questions if anyone can help...

1) When bound and receiving, should the Power light on the RX flash? The servos move and it works, but seems weird that the light is SOLID when TX is off, and Blinks when connected.

2) Can I get RSSI out of this 'with out' having to use EzOSD?

Thanks muchly.

Yeah it flashes when bound. Used to be a slow heartbeat type flash, but since the latest firmware stopped using the ppm for synchronisation it now flashes rapidly.

You can set one of the channels to RSSI/LQ and it will be output as a digital PWM signal. You'll need either a digital to analogue converter to make it into a voltage, or an OSD that can read digital RSSI. Mictronics did have a very nice bit of kit that plugs into the bus port and gives both RSSI and LQ in analogue form, but he's not making any more it seems... I have two of those, wish I had bought more!

Cool, that answered those questions then :) Thanks :D

Do you know if Pigeon or Cyclops OSD will read digital?

Don't know... Don't think so though. TBS core will, skylark OSDs do I think, RVOSD, ruby I think can interface directly with the bus port?

Keukpa

Nope - both those only read analogue RSSI
