Hi, I am starting to plan the assembly of a Disco. To date all my FPV Quqd flying has been with a Board Cam. I'm hoping Santa is going to bring me a Gopro (first experience of one of these!). I see the Disco has provision for both Gopro and a board cam but as I see from various posts on here that I can run live video from the Gopro so what it the benefit of using 2 cameras?
Why is it always cold wet and windy?!

The main benefit is that the WDR cameras especially cope heaps better with low or changing light while flying, the live out from the Gopro can be hit or miss with how well or poor a picture you see. It is nothing like the HD footage recorded and can spoil the whole experience. To be fair though, the Gopro 3 copes a lot better with it, that much better I use the live out to fly my Hex with where previously I would not have even bothered trying.
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)
