So I bought a new case so I could put everything in one, my Tx, goggles and batteries. It struck me that the top of the case had a lot of space and clearance, and I had an old screen on a tripod that I never used as I couldn't be bothered taking it out most of the time, so I set about integrating it into the case. I also had a hobbyking DVR that I was attaching to the video output of my skyzones, but it was a pain with cables so I wanted to integrate that as well. Ordered a cheap 32 channel receiver which arrived today so got it all wired up!

Seems to work well, just drilled a hole for the antenna to go through and hot glued the plastic case on to keep it strong. Only issue is that the cheap cloverleaf is the opposite polarisation to the bignose skews I've got, how big a difference is this likely to make?

Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)

wrong polarity on antennae kills range.
OMG, IT FLIES!

big no no, please don't try to fly with antennas of the opposite polarisation.

p.s. I have the same case :) I used an extension from hobbyking to mount my antenna on the lid
