Yes the jack plug on the USB adapter plugs straight in, then you setup the trainer menu

just make sure you set up a fresh model memory for when using the 9X on the PC as a simulator controller.... then remember to pick the right model memory when you go out to the field flying the real thing.

Yes good idea , I have set up a basic model for now , just waiting for cable to arrive .
