Ok this is weird. I can power my kk2.1 board with a 2s lipo, but it will not power with a 3s? What's the matter folks?

Thanks

Don't power it with either, the power for the kk2.1 (or a 2) should come from the 5v BEC from your ESC where it connects to motor 1.  If you do this, the actual number of cells you are using isn't relevant

Ok it powers from my other kk board. Now I'm gonna test each esc individually

Thanks curry

Got a picture, as I'm a bit confused if I'm understanding where you are powering ?  So if you are on a quad, you'd attached the servo connectors from the 4 ESCs to motor inputs 1/2/3/4 (obviously paying attention to which motor is numbered what).  The 5v on motor 1 supplies power to the whole board, none of the other motor inputs have the 5v connecting to anything else.  Then this 5v comes back out of the kk through a servo lead to power your RX.  You doing something different - or is it exactly like I've described but a 2s works and 3s doesn't (which would be a bit weird !?)

Thanks for your reply kitten. I wired up all my esc's together rather than use a distribution board. Don't know what's happened but now it seems fine. Just gonna maiden when the rain goes off. Will get a video up soon.

Maybe it's my soldering lol

Thanks

Well if an ESC decides to shut down mid flight then we know why ;)

Look forward to your video
