I have to debunk this model as being VERY inaccurate, regardless of how pretty it is.

I've just watched the vid again (in HD) and it is technically inaccurate.

2.38 seconds in... shows a plane from the Turkish Airlines fleet executing a perfect landing.  Having flown frequently with Turkish when it was operational, I can categorically say that they NEVER land smoothly.  The Trukish pilots all adopted a "get it on the deck quick, the landing gear has shock absobers made for bouncing" approach.  It SHOULD have bounced at least 5 times on touch down, and possibly with a bit of side to side action going on too.

I am going to write to the model makers in disgust at their lack of attention to detail.

You know... a sign of a good landing IRL is a firm touchdown - 'greased' landings aren't encouraged as they normally lead to 'floating' down the runway.

So, in short, my landings are perfect and the odd crack here and there (in the ground?) is an acceptable side effect  ;D

As my flying instructor (full size) said to me as I slammed it onto the runway such that our fillings rattled.....'If you can walk away, it's good landing..........if you can use the aircraft again, it's an excellent landing'
