Is it really feasible to FPV night fly?

I've seen lots of FPV night flying vids over on RCG, one guy has a mental set up with LED headlights that light over 500m ahead

I don't see the point of it really. I think it would be deadly dull.

To each their own though I suppose.

Funnily enough, just back from a night flight on my tri.

It was maiden flight too - just to add to the pressure

As to why - purely for the challenge. Bit like the heli guys doing 3d stuff. Doesn't do it for me, but each to the their own.

My intention is not to fly in the dark but to photograph backlite monuments at night  :D

To be fair mate, you got it sussed, sometimes you just amaze me
I struggle to fly my tri in the day let alone the night and in a carpark
Still think your a pleb though
Should have my nightship up and running within a fortnight, just waiting on LED's and current sensor

I dont see why not Ant, sticks out enough, get a low lux camera, good enviormental lighting and your in good shape :)
Education and schoolin is good, but FPV is gooder :)
