ok i have almost finished my bixler fpv, i installed the fpv gear before glueing together, i have a scratchbuilt camera pod and case on there, i just need to sort out the cog,

may I suggest you make the nose of your plane in front of yore camera, darker, it will help the cameras white balance.

thanks G for that advice, i will check out my tapes, or maybe paint, and have had to add weight onto the nose, including my HD keyring cam, and have my cog at 66mm, will maiden it tomorrow if weather holds out

hi coyote, i think it looks high due to it being an outrunner, i used an old brushed motor can and attached the motor to it, then attached it into the motor compartment, i have checked other pictures on the build thread for the bixler, and it looks similar to others, also i tried to maiden today, only eye flying, but only managed 10 minutes due to the rain, and found that the weight i added onto the nose was overkill, i just took it off and it flew sweet, but didnt want to kill my electronics with rain, plus trying to land in wet grass is not a good idea, makes the lens on my keyring hd cam all misty like its been smeared with vasalene, so will try again when the weather stops being so wet
