Finally getting somewhere with the Easy Fly Glider

Hey all, well I had some good flying time with my glider today.

Still needs some work - the prop that came with it is just crap, unbalanced and the motor shaft was bent so I had to fix it with pliers. It still shakes like mad when I throttle up which makes for some wobbly camera footage.

Still debating which prop to get although I did get a 950kv motor from Large Halibut the other day to replace the stock one.

Anyway here's a crappy vid, nothing special:

Handles the (7-10mph) wind quite well to be honest, once I get it dialled in properly I feel it'll be a nice platform to fly on. For now though, the CoG needs some work.

That looks like its gowing to be a beauty, its always a bit shaky when you fly line of sight, the video will be totally different when your in it.

Yea it worked quite well - can't fly very far without FPV gear (my eyes are crap!) so it gets a bit boring lol

Here's some more flying I did today - flew really well today, hands off for some short bursts. I did the "dive test" and it is still a little nose heavy, so I want to get that sorted.

Other than that, I got 33 minutes again off a 2200mAh battery with 10.8v left when I came back in :) Can't argue with that.

Ah nice 1 Steve, i didnt even know you had it lol, yeah gotta swap that motor out if you cant get a shaft, but looks a nice flyer :)

Yea it flies well but the motor sucked from the start, so I've not really flown it much. Wish I'd bought an Easy Star lol.

Brill steve, at least you're up flying. i havent flown the bixler for a while now. need to pull my socks up :)
