Hi All,

Didn't want to revive an old post so here goes.
I'm creating a modular swapabble ground station based on the NexwaveRF modules.
Using the original veroboard layout diagram posted here some time ago ive soldered it as pictured.
Ive attached the pictures to the post.

It powers up perfect, i get a perfect picture and audio, however it wont change channels.
Ive tested the track breaks with a DVM on continuity mode and the tracks are indeed clean breaks.
Ive also tested the switch works as expected including running it to ground.

Im a little stumped, can anyone see anything wrong with my setup.
Last time i used my electronics knowledge was when i took my class B ham license (20+ yrs ago) so whilst i do have good general elec knowledge im certainly rusty

This is obviously a job for a class A licencee!!

You have connected the common switching wire one row out ..It should be connected where you have a solder blob   but no wire ..i.e there should be 4 blank Vero lines between the switches and the earth connection..you appear to have only 3

"HI HI" (For the hams ;) )

The module isnt occupying the top row of the veroboard.
I'm just uploading a video to YT in an attempt to show / explain myself better.

Thanks

What i should've pointed out is that the top and bottom row of the veroboard are not used.

Ok ..its still the same issue  there are 10 pins on the module the third pin up is ground  ...the vero layout show FOUR lines with no connection, then Three Switching lines ..You need to disconnect the common connection on line 4 ..extend the common connection to line 10 and move the earth wire up one line and all will be well

Hi G4,

The module only has 9 pins on it

The 10 pin connector on the very left is a 10 way edge connector

As ive translated the pin out to be going of the silk screen text on the module in my previous picture
