To be introduced initially in North America and Europe.
It will become available in December via an update of the DJI Go app and drone firmware.
However if you don't install it I guess it won't affect you.

I checked the dji map of no fly areas and it only seems to show airports.

Restricted airspace ie hinkley isn't on there which is ridiculous .

Airport restriction seems to be nofly literally within diameter of the runway with 250 ft max height outside that raising 5 degrees so is no restriction at all in my eyes as i would never dream of flying within even 2 miles of an airport.

my only concern would be some political halfwit decides for example anywhere within 100 miles of some political event is a no fly zone for a week and over time this could start to seriously impact ability to fly responsibly also potentially forces you to update firmware weekly to remove the restriction which then opens you up to the exciting world of beta testing.
