DJI Geofencing

To be honest I think it's a step forward for DJI from the previous blanket "well you screwed bitch" stance if one had legitimate reason to fly in an area designated no fly by DJI's rather crude tool.

I have an Inspire Pro, which despite the Pro designation doesn't enjoy the same ability to turn on/off no fly zones as for example the "professional" A2. I have to say I'm no DJI fan, but they have done a really nice job on the inspire.

I'd be fairly happy to update  the firmware now knowing that should I need to fly in a particular problem area then I can now disable that restriction. Given that it would be for commercial use anyway the need to register to achieve it is really not a big deal for me personally.

It has to be a good move overall... I think the horse has already bolted somewhat, but any move that makes the general ignorant user have to jump through more hoops and have some accountability before doing something stupid can't be a bad thing in my opinion.
