Third flight in the FPV Mossie today  ;D - and I decided to risk a half roll with a half loop out  :P, and a full roll  (?). She handled them with ease and I am REALLY enjoying flying this plane. Gonna have to master landing it without nosing over before I do some serious damage though - or land it with the goggles off.

excellent.
getting better each flight too.

With regard to landing it could you put some method of raising the camera up a little bit? if there was less dash in the view it would probably be fine. or you could mount a small cam in the nose for landing? and have a switcher...

Awesome! Although my hat goes off to you, there's no way I could fly with that field of view! Do you have any pictures of the plane? I've always wanted to FPV a warbird but just don't have anywhere to fly from that I could use the retracts.

OK - some pics of the plane. One pic shows the camera just after mounting, before all the bits were assembled into the cockpit. Its a PilotHDv2 on a Henge 260 panning servo. No room for tilt with such a large camera inside the cockpit frame.
