I guess using a slow moving vehicle that's never out of sight, it wouldn't be the end of the world if I ran out of ground station power lol :P But i'll look into using the Lipos. Definitely save some weight which is a good thing! :)

Another reason I've kept mainly to lead acid batteries is that I have built a couple of setups for mates, they have zero model experience so I wouldn't trust them with lipos! If I supply them with a smaller (12v 7ah/9ah) lead acid battery and charger they'll have plenty of juice and also stand a chance of maintaining it whilst not blowing themselves up!

My biggest issue has been finding this type of camera that is actually decent for sensible £'s (still looking for a really good one). Most have terrible colour rendition or similar issues, but they are just so neat and simple to install...
