I have done 3k with a Futaba 14 sg and R7008SB Rx with 2 bars up on the RSSI telemetry, surrounded by trees with 5 other 2.4 tx's around me, and that's on the new LBT reduced power firmware.

Spektrum or not, sad to see a decent business going belly up - they make some nice aircraft.

From the horse mouth, it was the cost of warranty repairs in the uk which put the uk operation under the cosh. All UK sales will be handled from Horizon in Germany where they also have a retail outlet. So you will still be able to get your foamies!

Is this definitely new news ?

Horizon moved warehousing from Harlow to Germany back in 2014 (move was completed 15/09/14), it just meant the products sent to stores came from European Distribution centre in Elmshorn, Germany instead of Harlow, but service dept and sales teams remained in Harlow, and I can't find any recent announcement from Horizon that this is changing?

Not clear from above if this is just previous move being rehashed, or if the Harlow service centre is now closing, which would be a shame as for service/support they were fantastic, so I'm not sure how they could offer the same service at lower cost from Germany, certainly its much more awkward/expensive for customers to post items to Germany for repair/return ?
