Are you sure its really working and not just giving 100% when tx on and 0% when tx off ?

Hmmm. Fair point! I just tested. I put the plank outside behind the car which is about 20 meters from the tx, still got a reading of 99. I wrapped the RX antenna in tin foil, still got a reading of 99. In addition I then put the tx in a metal filing cabinet ..... still 99. Wtf? Why?

Thanks for the heads up Coyote.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to test mine properly on Saturday.

Lol and I was feeling all warm cuddly thinking it was working 🙄

Would I see the numbers drop if using ezuhf if the tx is only 20m away behind a car with the antenna wrapped in foil?

I've screwed around with this ezuaf Rx, sis dax and MFD ap all day trying to get rssi working.

I've set the Dax to 0-5v, set the ezuhf to rssi on ppm ch7 with servo ch1 set to ppm mux.

I've been into the MFD osd and calibrated the min max rssi which shows 5.147v at max and 0.004v at min. I've then saved the settings.

Rebooted everything and get a 100 % rssi figure on the osd, I switch the tx off and the figure drops to 0%.

But if I take the ezuhf Rx antenna off or try to block the signal there is no drop in the rssi figure.

I'm pulling my hair out here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Don't pull your hair out until you go out and fly. It's hard to test something like this on the ground

So I got a chance to push out to 13km today. The RSSI value did decrease, but it eventually went to 0 at around 8km but I never had a single lock out all the way to 13km

Unfortunately my dvr decided not to record anything so I can't review the flight.

I might change the setting from RSSI to link quality see if that gives more meaningful results

Hey Brucey. Thanks for the update, appreciated. Are you using MFD ap with ezuhf and a sis dax?

Cheers

Awsome. If you could possibly take a pic of your servo mappings in imrc tools id appreciate it. But if its a pain don't worry about it buddy.

I might just have to do a ground test. The weather isn't great for a good few days here.

Cheers 👍
