EzUHF How to fit to Tx + OSD link cable

Questions

1) Suggestions please how to physically fit the EZuhf transmitter FIRMLY onto the back of a Futaba FF8, bearing in mind that the aerial will be fitted directly to the Ezuhf (not via a clamp to the rail).

2) Should the Futaba 35 mhz module and aerial be removed from the tx?

3) Ezuhf comes with an "OSD Link Cable" (RSSI feed) which plugs into the rx and the other end needs splicing into the EzOSD to Battery sensor cable. Anyone done this ? as is typical the colour coding of the 2 cables are different.

Right - as no one has bothered to reply, I have thought and done some research and got answers / solutions myself!

1) To fit EZUHF tx to Futaba transmitter - modified an aluminium transmitter stand I had lying around - basically the EZ fits in place of the spacer tube between the stand legs.

2) Yes the Futaba tx module & aerial SHOULD be removed - EZ manual doesn't say anything.

3) Ezuhf to EZOSD RSSI 'Link' cable - found the splicing information in the ImmersionRC category of fpvlab forum. Also discovered FirstPersonView sell a specially made cable for the job - see

I`ve used a Transmitter tray previously and it works well, not great for storage in tool boxes but does the job :)
