Hi

Has anyone had any success getting Fatshark HDOs working with a sim on a recent mac?

Mine work ok on an older IMac & vga adaptor and also with the Tello and Iphone - but the 4K(??) output on the 2017 MacBook won't show on the goggles.

Have tried the HD fury HDMI downscaler - but no joy - just a black screen.

The manual says they accept 1080p 50/60hz

Any suggestions would be much appreciated

I haven't tried this (my iMac isn't recent, and I don't have HDO's), but generally - when you hook up an additional HDMI monitor, you get the icon up in the top left where you can decide if you want to mirror your screen, or arrange it so the monitor spans, and then decide on the individual resolution etc.  It sounds like you are putting 4k through it (or trying a descaler), do you have other resolutions available to send a downscaled signal natively ?

I believe the hdo accept a maximum resolution of 1080p. So anything over that and they wont display. As CK said can you change the resolution of the hdmi output on your imac?
